Warm feeling
At ProFound Drill Solutions, we believe that a fundamental part of sustainability involves reusing and recycling materials. Here, high-tech parts are made from materials that are at least 80% recycled. Therefore, it involves utilizing steel scrap from the metal and construction sectors, to save it from consignment to waste. We process this scrap metal into high-quality cast iron, which is a metal that is 100% recyclable while retaining its exceptional strength and flexibility. Our efforts are focused on minimizing our ecological footprint and promoting a circular economy.

EPD report on the products of ProFound Drill Solutions
In collaboration with the company South Pole, we commissioned a comprehensive life cycle analysis of the products that are produced by ProFound Drill Solutions. Consequently, we can now proudly present to you the resulting EPD report (Environmental Product Declarations), which features information on the environmental impact of our products at every stage of the product life cycle, from production, through construction and end of life, to potential for reuse, recovery or recycling.
The EPD report clearly shows that our products are designed with the environment in mind. CO2 consumed in the production of one kilogram of cast iron is significantly lower than in the production of one kilogram of steel (whether welded or cast).
